Send us the paperwork: how concierge setup works
Concierge setup is data entry done for you. You photograph or scan whatever paperwork you have — the sentence computation sheet, the latest team sheet, the judgment — add anything you were told by phone, and we enter it into your OutDate case as a draft — an AI model transcribes each page and a person checks the result against the documents — usually within one business day. Nothing is saved until you review it. Every value we entered is marked, you change anything that looks wrong, and the case only exists once you press Save — the dates are calculated at that moment, from inputs you confirmed. It is included with Pro, and the free trial counts. Documents are encrypted while we hold them and deleted once the draft is saved.
Reviewed against 18 U.S.C. § 3624 and BOP Program Statement 5880.28 (the sources the entered fields feed). Last updated .
Step by step
- 1 —
Gather what you have
Photograph the computation sheet, the latest team sheet, and the judgment; write down anything you were told by phone.
- 2 —
Send it
From your OutDate account, open Concierge setup, attach the files, add your note, and confirm you're authorized to share them.
- 3 —
Answer the follow-up, if there is one
If something required is missing, documents disagree, or a photo can't be read, you get an email saying what — answer online or reply.
- 4 —
Wait for the review email
AI transcribes the pages into a draft and a person checks it, usually within one business day.
- 5 —
Review and save
Open the draft, check each marked value, change anything that's off, and press Save — that creates the case and calculates the dates.
What do I send?
- The sentence computation sheet ("Sentence Monitoring Computation Data") — the single most useful page. It carries the custody date, the total term, jail credit, and BOP's own projected dates. Get it at a program review or by FOIA; see how to read one.
- The latest team sheet / program review — the PATTERN level, the halfway-house months the Unit Team recommended, and the next review date.
- The judgment (J&C) — the statute of conviction, which decides FSA eligibility under § 3632(d)(4)(D), and the sentence as imposed.
- Incident reports or DHO findings, if any — GCT forfeitures and FSA credit disallowances.
- What they told you — a sentence in your own words is fine: "87 months, went in March 2023, case manager said PATTERN is low."
What happens after I send it?
- You get a receipt email with a link to track the request.
- An AI model reads each document and fills in a draft — never a case — with every value tied to the line on the page it came from. A person then checks the draft against your documents. Each read and open is logged.
- If the paperwork leaves something required out (the sentence length, say), two documents disagree, or a photo can't be read, you get an email that says exactly what, with a link to answer online — pick from the choices, or just type it in your own words and we read it — replying to the email works the same way, photos included. Conflicts are ours to settle; you're told about them and can weigh in if you know the answer.
- You get a "ready to review" email. The case form opens with every entered value marked *entered for you · check it*, alongside where it came from.
- You change anything that is off and press Save. That is the moment the case is created and the dates are calculated — from inputs you confirmed.
- Your uploaded documents are deleted the moment the draft is saved (or the request is cancelled or closed).
Is this legal advice?
No. Concierge setup is transcription: we enter what the paperwork says into the same fields you would fill in yourself. We do not decide eligibility, predict an outcome, or file anything. The projection that follows is the same statute-cited estimate every OutDate case gets — see what OutDate computes — and it is still an estimate until BOP's computation matches it.
How are the documents stored, and when are they deleted?
Uploads are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM, the same regime as names and register numbers) and held in our own database — no third-party document service. Only the person entering your case can open them, and every open is written to an audit log you can ask us about. They are deleted when the draft is saved, when you cancel, when a request is closed, and in any case within 90 days. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Pro to use concierge setup?
Yes — it is included with Pro, and the 7-day free trial counts. Start the trial, send the paperwork, and the case is fully entered before the trial ends.
Can I send paperwork for a case I already started?
Yes. Pick the existing case when you send; the draft opens as an update to it, with the entered values marked, and saving re-runs the calculation while keeping the previous run in the history.
How long does it take?
Usually within one business day. You get an email the moment the draft is ready to review.
What if the paperwork is incomplete?
We enter what is there and leave the rest blank rather than guess. The results page then points at the specific blanks — usually FSA eligibility, the facility, or BOP's own dates — that would narrow the range most.
